Sometimes a store bought vanity has the right design but is just missing a few finishing touches that really lend to your own personal design.
This Restoration Hardware vanity was re-fitted with a hand made, custom wood top, made from antique flooring our client was able to find. Specific boards were selected, ripped down to the proper width for the counter top and backsplash, joined together, and lightly sanded. The sink bowl was then used to make a template for cutting the wood top for the sink opening.
Further steps to be taken on the vanity will be to apply a clear coat of polyurethane to seal the top and changing the drawer hardware.
